So its been awhile but when has it not?!
I've come to terms with the fact that I'll never be some great famous blogger...not only am i not an extremely good looking boy [gay or non] but I'm very lax with updates and in saying anything very interesting in particular.
THOUGH i do have some thoughts to get out today.
So while having finished high school and being on the path of reminiscing about 'the old days'
So things such as Rocko's Modern Life, The Trap Door, Angela Anaconda, Captain Planet, and those damn Alien mice always come up..well technically apparently I'm the only one who remembers the Biker Mice from Mars but still they were there, and they were what great Cartoons were made of...not this shit that's on tv today, the millions of episodes that go nowhere, every single show i watch is like L.O.S.T, going nowhere fast and confusing as hell.
So here we go, some fun things...
Okay so how can you forget that theme tune
AND the crazy graphics, sure they weren't anything spectacular but they were bright, kind of brain numbing and very very creepy, if you go back and actually watch this show you'll realize just how creepy it was, but then again that's why i loved it.
The turtle, Mr Toad...these characters had sass, they were funny, and rude and plain good, now what do you get, a bunch of Miley Shit and the crappiest cartoons invented because these cartoons were probably considered too rude and possibly creating mass murdered..huh...weird.
:D
OMG okay so this show never made total sense to me, and in a way it made me want to beat my brains out..but i still loved watching it...like alot, because it was on in winter when the skies were dark and it just suited the general mood of life at the time, i was also a bit too old for really liking this sort of cartoon in reality, but it didn't stop me, just like it didn't stop my friends from liking saddle club, no vicious beatings stopped them :D.
Doobe doobe doo whap wah my name is Angela..... etc etc
Yep the theme, gets stuck in your memory forever, the carton, a cut and copy style of animation very different, which i think is what amused me first and foremost, but then the jokes, the rudeness, the absurdities, the fat little blond girl...i mean come ON what was not to like!
Actually it kind of reminded me of a mix of my friends and enemies in all characters, it was unique and i could still watch it for hours.
Okay maybe people think Blah typical 80's cartoon, a fad to the trendy hipsters and teenie boppers of this age but truly, i watched Captain Planet like there was no tomorrow, every single damn night and if i missed it..well there was tantrums to deal with.
I wanted every ring, i could never choose, though i loved the black guy, like as in love loved...i told my mum i was going to marry him...i suppose that was something that was never going to happen haha.
Anyway back to basics, I've been wanting to get hold of Captain Planet dvd's for quite some time, though my friend has told me not to do it as it seems as children we were VERY easily amused...and conned into watching crap...but i've seen some little bits and piece and i think these days its just a lot funnier than it used to be.
Biker Mice from Mars...yeah well, i suppose they were crazy with there concepts, toons these days just aren't as rodent friendly...no TMNT and No BMFM.
Weird as!
I cannot for the life of me really remember what exactly they did in this show, i assume some sort of fighting the ultimate evil in each episode kind of thing, and i think they delivered pizza's too...or was that a different show...i don't remember, it doesnt matter anyway, mice from mars was just good enough for me, i mean they have ANTENNAE! hahahaha
oh god :)
!EXTRA EXTRA!
Okay this show was pretty much the most coolest thing i ever thought existed.
Yep, i was a bit of a tomboy...
i evern got one of their toys which by the way were freaking awesome..so awesome i'm pretty sure i still have it *goes looks* I can't find it, and my mum is telling me she threw it out... [i will kill her]
Anyhow this short lived show melded with some dinosaur show soon after its one year running but the premise of teen boys being mutated into crime fighting sharks was freaking awesome :)
So it was really hard to pick only a few shows after starting this little round up, but i vaugely remembered this, Earthworm Jim, and while i get it confused with the tick at some points i do know it existed as a show, and me and my brothers LOVED it, mostly because wtf a work is a superhero, and he was also in the clay fighting game from the 90's which i can't remember what is was called but we freaking loved that too. Okay head up wiki'd it and it was called Clayfighter 63 1/3 [which was a fighter game which parodied many other Nintendo game releases of the time which resulted in many known Nintendo characters of 1997].
Anyway the show existed too. that is about all i shall say on that.
I loved it..other people loved it, Earthworm Jim rocks. And that is the end of the Longest post i've made in my entire life on any sort of blogging page.
It is also the end of reminiscing the 1st tv show watcher
blah blah blah
I'm sure i'll have something less nerdy and more.. 'with it' next time i post but honestly
I'm not complete high class fashion 24/7, i'm me, and me includes the fact that since i was born no one knows what i'll do, i'm weird, i like many things and i'll flip whenever i want
BAAAH
